Our Philosophy:
Smudge provides a unique approach to art making for children ages 2-9. Our drop-in sessions, birthday parties, and special events focus on the creative process while using a variety of media. Our studio is set up in stations which enables children to explore art in a relaxed setting and allows them to create at their own pace. Art making can be messy (which is a lot of fun) and we encourage children to come to the studio in comfortable old clothes. Each week our drop-in sessions will present children with an array of choices in order to maximize participation and focus on self-expression. Smudge aims to maintain a fun, supportive and instructional environment that will allow children to develop their artistic skills.
